Isaiah 55:6-9 (King James Version)

6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Activities
1) Ponder that the goodness of God, and his willingness to abundantly pardon.
2) Sometimes it's easy for me to get caught up in thinking about my way, when in reality God knows a higher, better way for all of us.

One other thought. I stumbled on this guys blog. I don't know him, and that is OK. We are all children of our Father in Heaven, and all of us able to come unto our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. What I do know about him is he is following the Lord and for this I congratulate him. A fabulous example of a person seeking closeness with God. You should check it out, it truly is a wonderful site;

Scripture of the Week:

"Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. "
Matthew 5:6

1) Look into the analogy Jesus might be giving between physical hunger and thirst, and spiritual hunger and thirst.
2) Pray to obtain it.
3) Fast once this week to experience what it is like to have hunger and thirst, and meditate on the spiritual aspects of it.
4) Look into how this might relate to other examples Jesus gave about being, "the bread of life" and "The water, that if we dirnk from it we will not ever have thirst."
